On the basis of act of MCSU SenateNr XXIV-27.18/19, 29th May 2019 r:

KNOWLEDGE:

W1. The graduate has profound knowledge and understanding of production of bacterial and viral vaccines, and immunoglobulin preparations. Moreover, graduate has profound knowledge and understanding of the principles of the use of organisms in production of vaccines and immunoglobulin preparations, ang understands the risks of usage of genetically modified organisms (K_W01; K_W03)

W2. The graduate has profound knowledge and understanding of the theoretical basics of the mechanisms of action of vaccines and immunoglobulins preparations , and the role of their components (K_W02).

W3. The graduate has profound knowledge and understanding of the specificity of biology as well as the main development trends and the latest achievements of new vaccines and immunoglobulins preparations (K_W05)

SKILLS:

U1. The graduate is able to formulate unusual and complex problems in the field of vaccinology and immunotherapy, and solve problems in an innovative way in unpredictable conditions, including situations requiring independent decision-making (K_01)

U2. The graduate is able to choose and employ appropriate methods and tools to perform specific tasks and modify available methods or develop new methodologies and tools in field of vaccinology and immunotherapy (K_U02)

SOCIAL COMPETENCE:

K1. The graduate is ready to assess his/her knowledge and acquired information critically, recognize the importance of knowledge in vaccinology and immunotherapy in solving theoretical and practical problems, and seek expert opinions in the case of difficulties in solving problems independently (K_K03)

K2.The graduate is ready to fulfill social obligations, such as sharing specialist knowledge in vaccinology and immunotherapy with others as well as initiating and co-organizing activities for the benefit of the social milieu (K_K04)

9. The antibodies - definition, classification, function

10. The glance of history of immunoglobulins preparations

11.The safety of immunoglobulins preparations

12. The preparation of immune serum

13. The steps of human plasma purification in process of immunoglubulins preparations production

14.The usage of immunoglobulins preparations in treatment of different types of diseases

15. The therapeutic monoclonal antibodies

1. Factors influencing on schedules of vaccination.

2. New approaches in vaccines development.

3. Facts faced in vaccine development – successes and failure.

4. The features of antibodies essential in terms of their application in medicine
