Pełny opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) The position of secondary metabolism in biochemical processes in living organisms and its regulation at molecular and environmental level. The course covers the major groups of secondary metabolites in microorganisms and plants, from the perspectives of biochemistry and biosynthesis with references to the relationship between biological function of secondary metabolites in defense against different stress. Characteristics of basic secondary metabolites (bacterial, fungal and from plants), their biosynthetic pathways and practical applications for example such as pharmacological compounds. During course the following didactic methods will be used: - Multimedia presentations (MS PowerPoint / Prezi), - Skills acquired during the training Professional public speaking, - Classes conducted in English (preparation for classes using English-language literature) |
