(tylko po angielsku) The course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of project management, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage projects. It begins with an analysis of the evolution of project management, exploring its historical foundations and contemporary significance across various industries. The course offers an overview of project management principles, encompassing key methodologies and frameworks such as traditional and agile approaches. Students will delve into the phases of the project life cycle—initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure—learning best practices for effectively navigating each stage. Emphasis is placed on stakeholder management, highlighting the importance of identifying, engaging, and effectively managing stakeholder expectations to ensure project success. In the project initiation module, students gain the ability to craft effective project charters aligned with organizational goals. It contains project planning, covering scope definition, schedule development, and resource allocation. By utilizing tools like Gantt charts, students learn to construct realistic project schedules. Resource planning focuses on optimizing team and material resources, while budget planning imparts financial control techniques to keep projects within budgetary constraints. Finally, risk management planning prepares students to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project resilience. |
