| Wymagania wstępne: | (tylko po angielsku) Students should have a general understanding of international relations and basic knowledge of contemporary European politics. Familiarity with the political history of Central and Eastern Europe is useful but not required. An interest in regional security, foreign policy, and political transformations in Europe will support successful participation in the course. |

These methods are designed to encourage active participation, critical thinking, and the practical application of theoretical approaches to International Political Relations. |

(tylko po angielsku) This course provides an in-depth analysis of international political relations in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Students will examine political developments, and contemporary challenges shaping the region's role in global politics. The course will focus on the region's relationships with major powers (e.g., the U.S., Russia, the EU, and China) and its internal dynamics, including democratic backsliding, populism, and security concerns. Students will develop a strong understanding of the region's geopolitical importance and will be able to critically analyze current events. |

Analyze the region's relationship with global powers and international organizations. K_W01 Discuss key issues such as NATO, EU integration, energy security, populism, and democratic backsliding. K_W01 W2 - Examine the impact of regional conflicts, particularly the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, on international relations. K_W02 Critically engage with contemporary political and economic developments in the region.
