Sposób weryfikacji efektów kształcenia:	(tylko po angielsku) We will have two kinds of meetings this semester. ‘Lectures’ are traditional university classes in which most of the work is done by the professor, and ‘classes,’ in which most of the work is done by the students. There are different requirements for each type of session. Student must complete all of the requirements in order to pass the ‘lecture’ and ‘class’ portions of the course. The purpose of the course is to get students to think about decision making in IR and participate in discussions about current foreign policy issues. Students are expected to attend each class session, do the reading prior to class, and follow our class discussions. -class attendance and class engagement are worth 70% of grade for the lecture and class portions of the course. -final exam for the lecture /classes, and presentation for the class are worth 30% of grade.
Pełny opis:	(tylko po angielsku) The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic approaches to the analysis of political decisions and the basic phenomena and mechanisms of political decision-making in international relations. During the course will be discussed: types of decisions; biases in decision making; the rational actor model and alternatives to the rational actor model; psychological factors affecting foreign policy decisions; leader’s personality; international, domestic and cultural factors influencing decision making.
