Pełny opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) The lecture covers the following topics: 1. Biological evolution - evolutionism before Darwin, Darwinism, modern neo-Darwinism. 2. Basic concepts of contemporary evolutionary theory. 3. Microevolution: mechanisms of inheritance, genetic and individual variability, natural selection on the level of organisms, mutation-selection balance. Genetic polymorphism and its importance for evolution. 4. Philogenesis: methods of reconstruction of phylogeny on the basis of morphological and molecular data; cladistic reconstructions. 5. contemporary problems of the theory of evolution. The Seminar covers the following issues: The following issues presented in the lecture are analysed during the class. 1. Biological evolution - evolutionism before Darwin, Darwinism, contemporary neo-Darwinism. 2. Basic notions of contemporary evolutionary theory. 3.Microevolution: mechanisms of inheritance, genetic and individual variability, natural selection on the level of organisms, mutation-selection balance. Genetic polymorphism and its significance for evolution. 4. Contemporary problems of the theory of evolution. |
