Pełny opis:	(tylko po angielsku) Ethics as a philosophical discipline. Basic ethical categories. Review of basic moral norms (moral norms in defence of biological existence, in defence of dignity, independence, privacy, justice, serving the need for trust). Main problems of bioethics (transplantation, abortion, euthanasia, in vitro fertilization, genetic engineering). Ecological ethics - outline of the basic issues.

Efekty uczenia się:	(tylko po angielsku) Learning outcomes based on the Resolution of the Senate of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University No. XXII-39.6/12 of 25 April 2012, i.e. from the educational cycle 2012/2013: Student: W1. He knows and understands the fundamental dilemmas of modern civilization and their basic implications in relation to scientific research in biology. K_W02, K_W04-05 W2. Knows and understands the basic ethical conditions of scientific research activities and applications related to biology. K_W07 U1. Uses with understanding the indicated textbooks in the field of ethics and understands selected passages of scientific texts in this field. K_U08-09 U2. Is able to use various sources of information including library resources and is able to use adequate language to defend his/her theses. K_U11, K_U14 K1. Appreciates the importance of humanistic disciplines, including ethics and philosophy, as tools of intellectual shaping of scientific attitude. K_K05 K2. Analyses and evaluates contemporary problems and conflicts of ethical nature, related to work with biological material. K_K06 K3. Presents a pro-ecological attitude and acts in accordance with the principles of scientific ethics.
